Welcome, Coaches!
Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and passion for the game. Coaches are the heart of volleyball in the Old Dominion Region—shaping athletes, building teams, and fostering a love for the sport that lasts a lifetime. This page is your hub for resources, announcements, training opportunities, and important updates tailored specifically for ODR coaches. Whether you’re new to the region or a long-time leader, we’re here to support your success on and off the court.
Coaching Education & Resources
As a coach in the Old Dominion Region, you have access to a growing set of resources designed to support your development and success on the court.
All USAV member coaches receive free Bronze-level access to the USAV Coaching Academy—an online learning platform offering high-quality, standards-aligned training modules to help you sharpen your skills and stay current with the latest in coaching education.
In addition to the Coaching Academy, USA Volleyball has launched the USAV Academy Endorsed Programs, partnering with respected leaders in volleyball education to offer even more learning opportunities. These partnerships include:
- Art of Coaching Volleyball
- Gold Medal Squared
- Beach Nation
Each organization brings a wealth of expert-led clinics, camps, and training materials that meet USAV’s rigorous standards for instructional excellence. These partnerships expand access to top-tier education and give coaches more ways to grow their craft, connect with others, and elevate the game across the region.
