Background Screening Policy
Updated for 09-10 — This policy provides guidance for screening of all individuals associated with sanctioned junior volleyball activities. (Coaches, Club Directors, Junior Team Reps, Chaperones, Tournament Directors). USAV’s reason for background checks can be found here.
Background Screening Application
All Background Screenings will be completed online through the WEBPOINT registration system. The fee of $17.50 will be added to your membership application fee. Background screenings are required for all Junior affiliated members (Coaches, Junior Club Directors, Junior Team reps, Chaperones, and Junior Tournament Host Directors.
- Background Screening Process — Rescreening — updated for 08–09 — All rescreening will be done through the WEBPOINT registration system during registration application
- Fair Credit Reporting Act — updated 2008 — this form provides a summary of rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
- ODR Completed Background Checks List — updated 6-6-08 — a list of people with completed background checks
- Background Screening Policy for Non-Citizens — updated for 06–07 — this new policy provides guidance for screening of all individuals associated with sanctioned junior volleyball activities who are non-Citizens
